He is currently practising as a Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon as well as Medical Director in Thomson Hospital Kota Damansara . He graduated from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and further pursued his specialization, FRCS in the UK. Dato’ Dr Mohd Hamzah has been described as humble, friendly and knowledgeable by his patients.
