Dr Thaneemalai, a dynamic, energetic, service minded doctor completed his MBBS Degree from Thanjavur Medical College, South India in 1991. He then pursued his career in the field of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at 96th Armed Forces Hospital, TLDM, Lumut, Perak till 1998. He is an expert in the field of Obstetrics & Gynaecology and a principal trainer in Obstetric Emergencies, after his specialist training at University Malaya in 2002. His area of expertise is in 3D laparoscopy performing complicated surgeries like ovarian cystectomies, uterine fibroid surgeries, hysterectomies and urogynaecological procedures. He is an academician, researcher, and clinical trainer, who conducts emergencies simulation training to all obstetricians & gynaecologists locally and overseas. He is also an author and has published many textbooks in the field of Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
