What is Nuclear Medicine?

Nuclear medicine is a specialty that uses controlled doses of radioactive substances in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Combining elements of chemistry, physics, computer technology with medicine, this approach allows doctors to catch and treat certain diseases such as cancer during its earliest progression in a safe, effective and less invasive way, that we called Theranostic Therapy and diagnostic Nuclear Medicine.
